Frequently Asked Questions

  • No, I am considered an out of network provider. Though, I can help you follow up with your insurance to see if they cover out of network reimbursement.

It will be your responsibility to pay the full fee, but I will be happy to assist you in being reimbursed by your insurance company for at least a portion of the fee by providing a superbill for you to submit.

You should know that filing any kind of claim with your insurance company requires a diagnosis of a mental health disorder. This is your choice and we are happy to provide you with the paperwork necessary to submit a claim to your insurance company.

Previous clients are always welcome for “tune ups” as needed! It’s important that we keep those cobwebs out!

  • Yes! I’ve offered virtual sessions since 2020!

  • I have a 24-cancellation policy. Appointments canceled with less notice will incur the full session fee.

I have this policy to create space for other clients, or members of the community, to use the time we had previously set aside.

  • This happens and that’s okay! Therapy is for YOU! I am on your team, regardless of how that looks! We know from research that the therapeutic alliance between clinician/client is the biggest indicator of change. If I am not the best fit for you, I will help you connect with a clinician to transition over to.
